Is "Rio," on the screens Wednesday, is your first experience in the field of animation?
I had already done "The world of Charlotte" in which I interpreted a spider. This film had reconciled with spiders!
Why are you drawn to the animation?
This type is an opportunity for me to explore new territories in humanizing an animated character. The carcass is there, the action is there and you give your soul.
Have you been seduced by the character of your character, a female parrot?
Yes. It's a tomboy with a lot of charm and humor.
"They say that I have character"
This character resembles you there in terms of energy?
Yes. They say that I have character. I'm known for that. My energy was used as the character.
The work is different from that with a character of flesh and bone?
It's a tomato! In the vote, he must give the emotion and the physical, translating adventures because my character flutters or falls off a cliff. Everything must be understood in the remaining sincere voice.
How did you do?
I tried living situations that came to my character when it comes for example with a ball attached to the parrot Blu hero of this story that can not fly. There are things going on emotionally. There is a path of character. I wanted to see the film before the original version to see the whole story and get what I wanted to put.
Lorant Deutsch lends his voice to Blu. Did you do all the dubbing?
We worked together a while, but in general, is doubling every turn. I'm still pretty physical. I give the nudge or I jump. We must move to make a living while we stood still. We must think about details like breathing. It is not the same when you walk or when not moving. I also preferred the action scenes, moments where our characters are cast, feel the fear or make-rolled balls. I was excited about this next clown.
How long did the dubbing?
He was in two days. So it was a pretty intense work.
"I was proud to be a cartoon for the show before my children"
How was working in France?
Carlos Saldanha, director, was not there but it was subsequently validated by the French voices. We had all the same direction of actors in the studio by someone who was very open to our proposals.
This woman has allowed me to go in breaks while remaining faithful to the spirit of my character because some things I liked least in the American version.
Which?
In the American version, we did not understand when my character fell in love. I allowed myself to show the continuity of my character.
Did you put the same thoroughness in preparing your song?
I did not know in fact that I had to sing. When I learned I wanted to train because I had to climb into the high notes. It's nice, as an actor, singing and dancing. It was also more interesting for me to go through with my character. I was annoyed that someone else sing for me in relation to emotion.
How do you see the new movie experience in your career?
I thought it was important that I do because it seemed interesting and serious. I look for diversity in my career. Nothing demonstrates the basis that I can do animation. So I wanted to explore this area. I had a second motivation: I was proud to be a cartoon to show my kids later.
"In theater My heart beats"
Your daughter, your eldest three children, has nearly ten years. Did she not see the age of cartoons?
I say latest because my children do not necessarily realize that I'm screen.
Refer your theater?
I started to like and I really want but I am finding the role and the part. I want a passionate love story.
Why are you attracted much drama?
In the theater, my heart beating. I play with the public.
What are your plans for the cinema?
I filmed "Behind the Walls," a fantasy film Sid and Julian Pascal Lacombe released June 15 and a Bulgarian film. Then I have to play in "War of the Buttons" by Christophe Barratier and "adored" Helen Fillières based on the novel "Severe" Régis Jauffret, a book inspired by the story of banker Edouard Stern murdered by his mistress. The film tells of things that affect me a lot about love.
"My choices are now in harmony with what I am"
Could you clarify?
There are many forms of love. We can not judge as the criminal case with Bertrand Cantat and Marie Trintignant. Helen Fillières will open a debate. Not to mention the murky side of ass or uniforms, I wanted to go there because it offers me a wonderful female role. Each meeting with a director feeds me. I became aware of my evolution. My choices are now in harmony with what I am. When I started, I was pleased that the film offered me subjects. I almost thanked him. Today, the desire is mutual.
Do you refuse more scenarios today?
I also refused before. But now, if the project does not fit my desire, I refuse. This changes everything in the game selection is important. There is evidence of maturity. The Bulgarian film me such pain to do because I play a passive woman, trapped on an island with her husband gives her a headache. But he taught me a lot because the movies are not playing but what is someone else that makes us experience things we would be unable to live.
